The largest and most beloved event of its kind returns to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre from 22–25 October 2026.
The event brings wine and food lovers, culinary enthusiasts and passionate foodies together under one roof at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. Visitors can enjoy a wealth of delicious experiences, tastings, exciting programme and special event offers. In 2025, the event attracted more than 100,000 visitors.

VIINI & RUOKA – The Most Delicious Event of the Year
The Viini & Ruoka event programme features guest authors who cook and discuss their latest books in the show kitchen. The Syö & Voi Hyvin programme stage also brings together fascinating experts and inspiring talks.
The event hosts the finals of the Chef of the Year and Waiter of the Year competitions, with the excitement culminating in the announcement of the winners. At the 2025 event, the Chef of the Year competition celebrated an impressive 30-year milestone.
Two dedicated halls will be set up for wine tastings, while the Finnish Grape Stomping Championships will determine who can press the most juice from grapes using their feet.

WINE & FOOD
PIAZZA
In addition to hundreds of wines, the event offers a delicious selection of dishes. At the heart of the event is the Viini & Ruoka Piazza, the perfect place to enjoy great food.
This year, guests can enjoy delicious offerings from top restaurants Gina, Gallis, Cafe Savoy and Vintero, along with sweet treats from Chjoko.
At the Piazza, you’ll also find the Viinikellari Wine Bar, conveniently located next to the restaurants and offering wines carefully selected to pair with the dishes served there.
Exhibition Area – Eat & Feel Good
The Eat & Feel Good exhibition area is dedicated to enjoying the good things in life. This immersive space offers delicious experiences that nourish both body and mind.
The programme features inspiring discussions with experts, thought leaders and innovators from the food and wellness industries.
Chef of the Year & Waiter of the Year – Finland’s Prestigious National Championships for Hospitality Professionals
Chef of the Year and Waiter of the Year bring together the very best of Finnish gastronomy. The competitions showcase the expertise and talent of hospitality professionals while helping shape the future of the industry through connections, collaboration and inspiration.
Contestants will compete for the Chef of the Year and Waiter of the Year titles from Thursday to Friday, 22–23 October. The winners will be announced on Friday evening at the competition arena.
